Simple Walkthrough of the GreenSource Service Process

Our process begins with a free quote available right here on our website. By sending us your basic contact information and details of your needs, we can estimate your site’s solar potential and give you an idea of the cost

Once we receive your request for a free quote, we will reach out to discuss your energy needs in greater detail, so that we can match them with the right products. At this point we can start designing your system and narrowing down your cost range depending on how much we know. It’s not uncommon for the price to reduce or increase during the process as we discover more information

With plans drawn up, our next step is to visit your workspace or home. While there, we will take pictures of the proposed sites, calculate yearly sun exposure and viability, and answer any questions you may have. This is the exciting step, when the project begins to feel real

Using what we have learned from your site visit, we will make any necessary changes to your contract, and walk you through the entire process to make sure you know what you’re getting and what you’re paying for. Once the ink is dry, we will schedule dates for further visits and construction

At last! It’s time to break ground! Depending on your personalized solar design, it can take anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks to get everything up and running. We’re sure to keep our customers fully informed and aware of the construction process and timeline throughout. If your system is tied to the grid, we may invite your energy provider to come out post-construction to inspect the system and turn it on

At this point all that’s left for you to do is sit back and enjoy the savings. This is our favourite part, when our customer shows us their vastly lower power bills! Our work has just begun though, as we provide monitoring services for the life of your system

GreenSource offers a commission of 4% when you refer someone to us, and they purchase a GreenSource solar energy system
